Forestry mulching is the cleanest way to clear grown-up land around Buna, Vidor, Silsbee, Lumberton and all across Southeast Texas. Our tracked mulcher grinds brush, saplings and small trees into wood-chip mulch right where they stand — one machine, one pass. No burn piles waiting on a permit and the right wind, no dump trucks hauling debris down your road, and no bare dirt washing into the creek the first storm after the job.
The mulch layer left behind is the point: it holds the topsoil, knocks back the regrowth for a while, and breaks down into the ground. Mulching shines on brushy tracts, overgrown edges and land you want cleaned without being skinned. When the growth runs to bigger timber, or the plan needs bare dirt for pads and grading, that's dozer clearing — we run both, so you get the right tool instead of the only tool.

Burning brush around here is a project of its own — county burn bans in dry stretches, smoke drifting where it shouldn't, and a pile that smolders for days. Hauling it off costs money by the truckload. Mulching skips the whole problem: the debris becomes a chip layer spread across the ground the moment it's cut, and the job is done when the machine loads up.
It's also the gentle option for this climate. Southeast Texas rain is hard on bare dirt — a cleared tract with no cover can lose its topsoil into the nearest ditch in one wet spring. The mulch mat holds the ground together, keeps the moisture in through summer, and feeds the soil as it breaks down. For land staying in pasture, hunting or just looking good, that matters.
The machine eats what Southeast Texas grows best: yaupon thickets, privet, briar walls, sweetgum saplings, volunteer pine coming up in an old pasture. Brush and small trees grind clean in a single pass, and the head works surgically enough to mulch right up to a fence, around a shade oak, or along a property line without touching what stays.
Every machine has an honest ceiling, and mulching's is size: past a certain diameter, grinding a tree stops making sense and pushing it with the dozer starts. Because we run both, you don't get a mulching company talking you out of dozer work or a dozer outfit talking you out of mulching — you get the combination your land actually needs, priced as one job.
A lot of our mulching work is shaping, not wholesale clearing: shooting lanes through a hunting tract, trails a side-by-side can run, clean edges where the field meets the woods, and old pasture taken back from the brush a few acres at a time. The mulcher cuts those lines fast and leaves them walkable the same day.
