Land grading is the finish work that decides how ground actually lives — whether water runs off it or sits on it, whether you can mow it or you fight it, whether the site is ready to build or just cleared. We grade and level across Buna, Vidor, Silsbee, Lumberton and all across Southeast Texas: fresh-cleared tracts smoothed into usable ground, rutted and washed-out land reshaped, yards and pastures leveled, and building sites brought to grade.
Around here grading is really drainage with a blade. Flat isn't the goal — controlled fall is. Ground graded dead flat in this rainfall turns into a shallow pond every winter; ground graded with the right slope sheds water and stays workable year-round. It's the natural finish to clearing and the foundation under every pad and driveway we build.

Every piece of ground has a drainage plan; the only question is whether somebody chose it. Water is going to fall on your land forty-some inches a year, and the grade decides what happens next — off to the ditch, or into a low spot that drowns the grass and breeds mosquitoes till July. Grading is choosing on purpose.
We read the ground the way you learn to when you grew up working it: where the water comes from, where it wants to go, what's in the way. Then the blade makes it so — fall worked toward the ditches and draws, high spots knocked into low ones, and the whole surface left smooth enough to mow without rattling your teeth.
Land right after clearing is honest but rough — root furrows, machine tracks, the odd hole where something big came out. Grading is what turns that from "cleared" into "done": debris raked out of the surface, ruts and holes worked flat, and the dirt shaped so the first wet season settles it instead of gullying it.
The same pass sets up whatever comes next. Going to grass? We leave a seedbed surface that a drag or a drill can work with. Going to gravel or a pad? The sub-grade gets shaped and packed before anything goes on top. Tell us the end state and the grading aims at it from the first pass.
Plenty of our grading work is repair: the pasture rutted to death in a wet year, the yard that's settled into humps and hollows, the lane that's washed into a gully, the lot where the last guy's "grading" sent every drop of water at the slab. Ground goes wrong slowly and all at once — and the blade puts it right.
