Brush clearing is the fight every landowner around Buna, Vidor, Silsbee, Lumberton and all across Southeast Texas knows. The trees aren't the problem — it's everything under them. Yaupon, privet, briar and vine stack up into a thicket you can't walk through, can't see through, and can't use. We clear it out: underbrush cut and cleaned from beneath the canopy, overgrown edges pushed back, and ground you forgot you owned opened back up.
Brush work is more surgical than full land clearing — the point is usually to keep the pines and oaks and lose the mess underneath. That's exactly what our equipment is set up to do, whether the job is a shady homesite, a hunting tract that needs lanes and visibility, or a fence line that's disappeared into the green. When the brush is grinding-size, forestry mulching does it with no burn pile at all.

Southeast Texas grows brush like nowhere else. Long growing season, forty-plus inches of rain, and sandy soil that yaupon loves — turn your back on a clean fence line for three seasons and it's a wall. Under a pine canopy the story is the same: the shade kills the grass, the yaupon doesn't care, and pretty soon the woods you liked walking are woods you can't get into.
Cutting it by hand is a losing game past about half an acre. Machine clearing resets the property in days instead of summers: brush out, sight lines open, and the ground underneath finally usable. Once it's cleaned, keeping it that way with a mower or an occasional touch-up pass is easy — it's the initial reset that takes iron.
The whole point of brush work is what stays. A tract stripped bare wasn't cleared, it was scalped — and around here the shade trees are half the value of the land. We work under and around your keeper trees, take the understory out, and leave the canopy alone. You walk the property with us first and flag anything you want protected.
Hunting land gets the same treatment with a different goal: lanes, edges and visibility. Cleared shooting lanes, opened-up creek bottoms and clean plot edges change how a property hunts — and how it looks when it's time to sell. If the plan includes a food plot pad or an access trail, the same visit can handle it.
